As combat operations end in Iraq, it is important to remember we will still have over 50,000 service men and women deployed in that country. The mission may have shifted from engaging insurgents and terrorists to training the Iraqi military and helping rebuild the country, but the members of our Armed Forces remaining behind still face serious threats every day.
